Kings Media & Merch is looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly person to join our growing team!

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and taking on a variety of responsibilities. Kings is a fun, creative, and fast-paced company that has experienced significant growth. We’re looking for the right person to help us continue building on that momentum.

Schedule

The typical schedule will be weekdays from approximately 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for at least 20 hours per week.

We can offer some flexibility with ending times, especially for parents or caregivers who need to accommodate school pickup schedules. There may also be opportunities for a few remote hours each week to assist with email, social media, and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

This position will include a combination of customer service, retail, production, and administrative duties, such as:

• Working with customers to collect order details, coordinate samples, and assist with order pickups
• Operating the retail store, checking out customers, stocking merchandise, and maintaining displays
• Opening and closing the retail store
• Receiving daily package deliveries and assisting with inventory
• Applying heat-applied graphics to apparel and merchandise, including direct-to-film transfers and patches
• Responding to customer emails and social media messages
• Helping organize workflow and communication between graphic designers, the production team, customers, and company owners
• Assisting with billing, banking, and other light clerical duties as needed
• Performing light cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, and breaking down boxes
• Assisting with other day-to-day responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be:

• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working directly with customers
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using email, social media, and basic computer programs
• Willing to learn new equipment, processes, and production techniques
• Able to lift at least 35 pounds
• Able to safely operate equipment, including heat presses that reach temperatures above 300 degrees

Previous experience with laser engraving, UV printing, embroidery, apparel decoration, retail, or office administration is a plus—but we are willing to train the right person.

On-Call | Flexible, As-Needed Hours

Kings Media & Merch is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented On-Call Production Associate to help our team during busy production periods, large orders, and special projects.

This is a flexible, as-needed position rather than a set weekly schedule. It is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, likes variety, and is comfortable being contacted when extra production help is needed. Hours may vary from week to week depending on our workload and upcoming deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Applying heat-applied graphics, direct-to-film transfers, patches, and other decorations to apparel and merchandise
• Preparing products and materials for production
• Assisting with printing posters, signs, stickers, and other printed materials
• Helping produce, trim, finish, and package banners and large-format prints
• Assisting with laser engraving and the preparation of engraved products
• Checking finished products for quality, accuracy, and proper placement
• Sorting, folding, packaging, and labeling completed orders
• Keeping production areas clean, safe, and organized
• Helping with inventory, deliveries, and breaking down boxes as needed
• Assisting with other production tasks based on current orders and deadlines

Qualifications:

• Dependable and able to respond to occasional requests for production help
• Detail-oriented and committed to producing accurate, high-quality work
• Comfortable learning and following production procedures
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and completing repetitive production tasks
• Able to lift at least 35 pounds
• Able to safely work around production equipment, including heat presses that reach temperatures above 300 degrees

Experience Is a Plus, but Not Required:

• Heat pressing or apparel decoration
• Direct-to-film printing or transfer application
• Large-format printing, posters, signs, or banners
• Laser engraving, UV printing, or embroidery
• Packaging, fulfillment, or other production work

Previous production experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

Duties Include:

• Running embroidery projects with care and precision

Qualifications:

• Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting small items under 10 pounds

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred):

• Experience with embroidery machines
• Ability to digitize logos and designs
• Familiarity with an Avancé 1501C embroidery machine is a plus
